There are a ton of quality and reputable instructors and agencies available both local and on the national stage. Our focus is on training students with simple, effective and practical firearms handling. At Spectre Training Systems many of our student and customers have zero to very little experience in as Frank Proctor calls it - "the way of the gun". We capitalize on the body and the mind's natural ability to fight as well as the natural physics of firearms handling. Our training is not intended to create war fighters or door kickers. We teach every day citizens to fight the fight inside their homes. The battle space between the driveway to the front door. That fight in the open parking lot of a grocery store or mall.
Flexible Classes and Scheduling
At SpectreTraining Systems, we also realize that lifestyle can play a major role in one's training curriculum. We recognize the students time is limited and therefore we strive to maximize your time with us as well as instill practical drills that you can take home with you. Range time is only part of the overall training methodology here at Spectre Training Systems. Mindset, dry fire and application of drills that are not range dependent play an important role in the development of a safe and competent shooter. In addition to our NRA certified courses, we also specialize in one on one, private groups, and practical event based training.

Although Alaska is a constitutional carry state, attaining training and education should still be just as important as an individual's right to carry in our great state. Therefore, we offer the state required 12 hour certification class to all qualified Alaskan residents. State regulations and restrictions apply.
